My name is Kate and I'm based in Leamington Spa. (If you're from London, Leamington is very close to Stratford in Warwickshire not Stratford in East London!)

My background

I started my career in the Advertising Unit of Solihull Council, before moving into commercial advertising agencies and then the internet. I've worked in account management and customer services, but always with a focus on providing copy for clients.

WritingIT

WritingIT was started in 2002. It's mainly me, but I do work with other copywriters and marketing specialists from time to time. I provide copy for websites, for brochures, for newsletters and for ads.

I've delivered training courses in 'Effective Copywriting' to a number of organisations, including the University of Birmingham, the Scottish Further Education Unit, Lantra, Baxi and Advantage West Midlands.
